The Wedding of

Svetlana Golovacheva and Tim Mitchell

in Birmingham Alabama

The Good News

Here is our story as told by my Husband, Tim.

For much of my life I have not had a girlfriend and was living my life by myself. This last summer I decided to take control over my situation and subscribed to the Matchmaking Service "kiss.com". A couple of months went by with poor results so I decided to write some girls that were Not a Good Match. Lana wrote me back from Birmingham, we talked a lot on the phone and I went to birmingham a few times for some fun dates. We fell hopelessly in love and committed ourselves to each other for life. Lana moved in with me here in Huntsville and we have decided to prove our commitment to Ourselves, the Church and God, by getting married. We truly love each other and want to grow old together. A wonderful girl 2 years older than me, she is very honest, loving and affectionate. We like the same movies, music and other interests.

We had a wonderful Wedding in Birmingham on May 19th 2002. We got married atSaint Symeon Orthodox Church. As you can see by the pictures below, the church was looking so beautiful that day.

After the wedding we had a small reception party and then left instantly for a Panama City Florida Honeymoon. We were camping right on the waters edge in a tent at at Saint Andrews State Park. Our activities everyday included a trip to the beach for some swimming and snorkling, a trip out on the town for something fun to do and a visit to the Fish Market. At night we grilled the best meals that we have eaten since we met each other in November 2001.

On the second night of our stay, we went out to visit Club LaVila, a large club on the beach. It was fairly early and I think that we were thier first customers that night. We had a fun time dancing for a few hours before going back home to the tent.
The sound system at the club was fair but no strong bass notes and and not a truely clear sound. We ordered a pitcher of beer and what we got was a little, one quart tub of foam with a little bit of beer at the bottom, for a cost of $10.oo. This club is all about taking your money and does not care about customer satisfaction at all. We give Club LaSteala two thumbs down.
